about

2012 Single "Heart Attack"
from the forthcoming full length album.

Recorded Feb. 2011 to Feb 2012 at legendary Fireside Studios Music Row, where many hits were made including Patsy Cline's "Crazy", and Dolly Partons "Joline". Also recorded at The Record Shop, Nashville. Songs Mixed at the world famous Castle Studios, which was built by Al Capone in the 1930's and served as his hideout half-way spot between Chicago and Miami for illegal bootlegging, it also served as an entertainment hall, gambling casino, and speakeasy all in one.

The Electro Pop version is featured as a B-side to "Kidding Myself" (2011) The music video, a compelling story show through the lens of 1940's and '50's black and white, vintage Hollywood film.

The driving guitar and dancey rhythms parade you through a whirlwind of emotions. The songs speaks of irony and wretched excess of the Hollywood elite, and all those who are addicted to this fame and riches of this glamorous lifestyle.

Scenes from the Golden Age of Film explores the roller coaster lifestyle of the pampered rich, with sinister bits of Film Noir telling the horrors that seem to be amplified within their own fame induced delusions.

about

With a trademark sound of cinematic songs- including layers of guitars, dreamy synths.. a unique blend of art-rock ... more alternative has emerged. Hailing from 5-points East Nashville, Auto Defiance is releasing new music and touring the nation. Their chameleon-like creation of grandiose art rock music is both endearing and inspiring. Track Name: Heart Attack
It's much too good to last.
You're far too good to wait.
This time, I think I'll pass.
Get past the masquerade.

It's you with your face in the crowd.
It's you who's stabbed in the back.
Nothing new, You're a Heart Attack.
Nothing new. There's no way back, No way back.

Everyone's high class.
It's nothing new,
They're here to over act.
The highest crime to know that you've been had.
Wasted time, a life spent chasing fads.

It's you with your face in the crowd.
It's you who's stabbed in the back.
Nothing new, You're a Heart Attack.
Nothing new. There's no way back, No way back
