about
The song "Heart Attack" (from forthcoming album) became the "B Side" on the Kidding Myself single somewhat by chance, but it happened naturally.
Originally written on an acoustic guitar, the first demo Bradley began using a "four on the floor" kick drum beat as a glorified click track just keeping time for recording. It is clear this "chill pop" tune had an upbeat dance feel from birth.
A seasoned electronica music composer in his own right, having written many downtempo, electronica songs, Bradley began to score "waving air", orchestral strings, dreamy synths and pads. The stabbing analog synth is an Arturia analog factory, which he discovered by chance in a pawn shop in East Nashville that very same week for a mere $90. He discovered the day he got it, the middle C was not working properly. Sad, realizing he must return it for a refund, he entered the studio that weekend and played the final synth on this remix. Needless to say, his money was refunded that next week.
The next adventure in Boyer's arsenal of musical composing weaponry will no doubt be a vintage synthesizer force to be reckoned with: a carefully selected library of Arturia Classic Synths: minimoog V, Moog Modular V, CS-80 V, ARP2600 V, Jupiter-8V, Prophet 5 and Prophet VS. Currently working with several electro pop & electronica singers for side projects, the random trip to the pawn shop rapidly advanced Boyer's electronica songwriting future.
lyrics
It's much too good to last.
You're far too good to wait.
This time, I think I'll pass.
Get past the masquerade.
It's you with your face in the crowd.
It's you who's stabbed in the back.
Nothing new, You're a heart attack.
Nothing new, there's no way back, no way back.
Everyone's high class.
It's nothing new,
they're here to over act.
The highest crime to know that you've been had.
Wasted time, your life spent chasing fads.
It's you with your face in the crowd.
It's you who's stabbed in the back.
Nothing new, you're a heart attack.
Nothing new, there's no way back, no way back
